And then:

Jason proposed marriage on March 25th 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey while on a private yacht on the Bosphorus River beneath the Bosphorus Bridge separating Europe from Asia. With dear friends and the crew as witnesses, he dropped down on one knee and proceeded to educate Kimberly on the fact that Istanbul is the only city in the world situated on two continents, Europe & Asia.

He said "like the bridge brings these two continents together, why don't we come together as one, will you be my wife?" and then put the ring on the wrong hand. It was perfect!

In the Beginning:
​
Kimberly's from the Bay Area and Jason's from LA, so of course they would meet in DC.
​
They're always about their business and were working on a project in common that often had them in a room of a couple hundred people, but he always managed to catch her eye...
​
Finally, after exchanging pleasantries a handful of times, he mustered up the courage to invite her out... to discuss the business, of course lol.
​
She didn't believe him and she was right.
